Description
Plazmamax-MegaHeat is a megawatt plasma heater generating a massive flow of hot air or another gas with a bulk temperature of up to 2000 – 8000 K. This plasma heater has a range of uses including high temperature heating of surfaces, syngas generation, waste treatment, high temperature tests, steel production, and treatment of steel industry by-products. When used for iron reduction, this plasma heater also works with a water-coal slurry injected directly into the plasma generating chamber.
